2022 Unconference promo

What is an unconference? The NCSS unconference follows an unconference model that includes the following:

  • Unconference schedules are built at the beginning of the event based on participant interests.
  • Unconference sessions offer spaces for educators to engage in participatory and inclusive dialogue and sharing. Formal presentations are not allowed. Vendors should not sell products at sessions.
  • Unconferences follow the rule of two feet, which means that you are encouraged to leave a session in which you are not learning.
  • Be prepared for a “smackdown” session at the close where participants have one to two minutes to share a favorite tool, lesson, website or concept in a highly energetic fashion.

Resources from throughout the unconference will be curated and shared with all participants and on Twitter using #NCSS19 and #NCSSUnCon.
